WTB 1990 Battery
Is there somebody that refreshes old batteries? Or a new battery that will pass judging?

Tom,
Your best bet (in my opinion) is to get a new Service replacement AC Delco battery and take the small point hit. I have not seen an original 1990 battery in many years. John

Well I have the service Battery going to install it tomorrow. quick queston am I going to loose my radio? I don't have the code to unlock it.

You will definitely lose the presets. Did the previous owner use the security code function?
Call Dr. Don's radio repair (936-435-1811). He may know how to reset or bypass any security codes. You might also talk with him about the tape/disc issue for repair.

Also if the new Delco battery has a handle, LOSE the Handle. I took a 14 point hit on my battery last year at the regional. Largest single deduction on my car. As stated if there is no security lock set you are good. You might want to search to see how to pull the code out before pulling the old battery if there is still power? Doctor Don did my radio head and it works perfect!!! Not cheap but not stupid either. When you want the best you have to pay a bit for it. :-)
