Default Burning wires

I have been hunting for the source of smoke coming out of the right side of my consul but nothing obvious. I have removed most of the passenger side pieces & still cannot find any wiring that is burnt. I realize it could be coming out dash & migrating to center of consul. Has anybody else ran into this situation? Hints etc. TIA

One of our guys had something similar and it turned out to be his front passenger speaker amp. It was fried! Also check the wires by the lights under the dash for both drivers and passenger sides.

Do you smell burning wires?

I noticed light wispy smoke very light on the right side of my center console the other day while idling the car for several minutes in the driveway on a zero wind day. I did not smell burning wires, just usual warm exhaust type smell so I suspect mine was coming from dust or residue on the center exhaust. The console isn't exactly airtight between the cabin and underside especially the cup holder area.
It had been a few weeks since I started the car.
Drove it today for an hour no issues.
