I have insurance on the car until the end of the Month but the weather looks like its turning for the worst. I washed her, filled her up with gas and some stabil. Changed the oil today, so now I got the vette parked for the winter. It will be May until I can drive it again.
Anyone else parking their Z soon? Its a curse of living in Canada.

Just tucked mine away as well - same ritual: full tank, stabil, and fresh Amsoil. I drove it 3,500 klm this year - most in a year since I got it, but 2,200 of that was to Bowling Green for the 15th Anniversary of the Nat Corvette Museum. I have some great pictures of the Corvette caravan to BG as well as the laps we did at Indy. I intend to post them as soon as I can get my issues with Photobucket sorted out.
You're right about the winter being a drag, but it makes spring that much more sweet! Happy Hibernating! |

Been crap and rain down this way for the last 2 weeks so no fall romp as of yet --maybe if I am lucky I will get one or two more until layup.

Had both of mine out each of the last 3 nights. Couldn't hook first gear, but second through fourth were alot of fun. I refuse to put them away before November.

I don't officially park mine until Thanksgiving weekend, but if the streets are dry in December I'll take it out for a Christmas drive!
Just got the ZR-1 back yesterday from replacing all the weather stripping. Plan on taking it to the club meeting tonight. 103,000 miles and it keeps on ticking. ![]()

I'm still hoping for one more run. But the car is prepped almost ready to sleep for the winter if I dont get chance.

I had the 415 out today. 16 C and sunny. Couldn't hook 1st gear, but 2nd through 4th were pulling like monsters. Forecast is for sunshine all week. Perfect ZR-1 weather!

Was nice here too, 14 degrees and blue skies. Drove across to North Bay for lunch and then drove south and came back around the 534 and 522, a nice cruise in the country. Weather looks set to stay good for a week or two, so maybe I'll keep the Z out a bit longer!
