I am trying to get some market research on how many ZR1 corvettes are out there. (US market). I am working on a ZF transmission project (S6-40) six speed manual. These are high performance transmissions. I need to find out how many corvettes are out there that have this transmission. Can anyone help me. Please email me at emily.lieske@gm.com
Thanks! |

All ZR-1's were built with 6-speeds, so you have almost 7,000 made. How many are left and how many are in the US is anyones guess. Don't forget the LT1 Corvettes had almost the same 6-speed.
Also ZR-1's were only built from 1990 - 1995.

You might check www.idavette.net They have productions numbers and you could do the math on how my C4's had the ZF installed. To determine how many still exist would be a guess at best.

Maybe one stayed on the lot until 96, so they sold it as one ![]() |
