Hib, amazing read!!
Below is a link to the article in this months Corvette Magazine. I totally forgot I had sent out for the trial subscription, and when I got home I saw this sticking out of my mailbox. THEN I saw the story on the cover, and immediately read it there on my steps!!
Hib, just a huge thanks for putting in your countless hours for this story. And all your countless hours in general on the LT5...... I've read it twice, and just could stare at those old pictures for hours. We are very blessed to have you still involved in the LT5 community. I'll shut up so others can read this awesome story of the history of our Beasts. But two things stood out for me. I had no idea GM and Mercury Marine signed the contract so early, 1986. And had a compete prototype running that early. Also, the 'LT5 gang', that's just good reading. Now excuse me while I will clock out at work here, and go get my Beast. Reading this makes me want to drive http://www.corvette-mag.com/issues/109/articles/building-the-beast#.V_T6Imco4dU |

Re: Hib, amazing read!!
Nice, I was told that no photos were to be taken by public until last day of production, true?

Re: Hib, amazing read!!
Nice job. And it might even school some of the Corvette brotherhood who are woefully ignorant about this great old engine.
I think they've got me as a new subscriber too..classy mag. |

Re: Hib, amazing read!!
Yeah, me too! I renewed partly b/c of Hib's article, but also to try to have a better "crystal ball" into the mid-engine/DOHC developments
