Default Where in the World is...

This ZR-1? The Z is a Tommy Morrison Snake Skinner. The Z was featured in Corvette Fever back in the mid to late 90's. Just wondering if there are other pictures of the Z or where it is now?

**This is not the Z that is painted like a GS on this forum, two different cars.

I remember the pics of that car. I think I saw them in Corvette Quarterly in an issue from '96 (an ad for which Morrison Motorsports would turn your car into a Snakeskinner with all the bits and pieces. Beautiful...the wheels and spoiler looked awesome!

If OBDII had held off yet for '96 and there was a ZR-1 for that year, I would have dreamed of a version like this...a "SS" version of the ZR-1 for even more coin.. (Of course I wouldn't have been able to afford it back then anyway)

The details would have been like this... Lighter carbon fiber hood, and maybe other lighter parts such as white 1st gen Dymags like GM's 1st Snake Skinner development car... Maybe spare tire delete (with fix a flat). And, 475+ HP "black engine", mods done right at Merc as the LT5 went down the line the first time. I am sure Van Deventer and Skinner would have loved a little extra time in the "material removal" department.

This, I think, would have left an even larger impression in the annals of automotive history!!! ....yeah baby!

I have a Morrison sales brochure for the Snakeskinner body kits. I believe it has the same pics as you posted.

I also know where the body kit molds are.

They must have changed the front air dam at sometime. The front and side's of my Jeal Ruby are suppose to be Morrison...

Brett,

Any chance of getting a copy? Of the sales brochure that is...

Ron, is your front lower valance a separate piece? I'll have to look at the molds to see which set they are.

It looks like yours is a separate add on pc. The car Daniel posted looks like a one piece bumper/valance combined.

IDK, but someone needs to build one of these cars. I'd almost change my Turquoise colors for a retro Morrison Snake Skinner. Daniel, white 13" Dymags???????
