Fuel pumps?
Are any pumps made in the US nowadays? How about the ACdelco EP381?

Re: Fuel pumps?
i would wager to say prob not anymore. That being said I know Marc Haibeck recommends the p240kc pumps. They are fairly cheap and work great. I have them in my 91 and haven't had a problem at all with them.

NeverMind. I got it. And yes, they are a very good price.

Re: Fuel pumps?
Thanks for the feedback. I talked to Corey Henderson and he recommended the acdelco pump so I bought a couple of them.

Re: Fuel pumps?
Airtex E3240 Fuel pump. Was recommended somewhere here. I purchased a pair of them for like 55 bucks in March on Walmart.com. And Airtex FS1 pump strainers. All went well. Incredible price.

Re: Fuel pumps?
I will mention that I recommend Airtex E3240 fuel pumps. We use ACDelco TS1 (short) and TS2 (long) strainers.
Spectra L0148 sender assembly gasket. Always replace all of the plastic hose clamps with metal clamps. The plastic clamps sometimes pop open a short time after they are reused. Some of the plastic clamps are developing cracks with age. |
