Most either go with OEM or RC's, but some have recently opted for the Accels because of the cost.

Also, what about the accel when it comes to durability?

Are they gonna last or go bad like the stockers. I got that crappy gas to worry about.

RC Engineering:

Accel durability, only time will tell.
As that they are designed for the fuels of today they shouldn't suffer from the senstivity to ethanol as the original Multecs.

"SOME" say that the spray pattern on the R/C injectors is more like a squirt from a water pistol..... instead of a wide spray pattern from the stock injectors.

Decide to bite the bullet and by from AC-Direct.com.$80 primary and $67 secondaries. Plan on fixing originals and saving them for years from now I hope. Thanks for all of your input.

Could have bought RC's for less than that, and got a better injector.

Fixing the originals basically ruins them.

Are you absolutely sure you want to go this route?
My '90 went through 2 sets of GM Originals.
Yes, 2 sets in less than 11,000 miles.
The previous owner of my car had to replace the primaries at some point, and 3 of the 8 GM AC-Delco replacements failed again.
Classic ethanol degredation of internal seals and shorting of coils by ethanol.

They may have updated their design since 1990-92, but I could not find anywhere where this was verified. I tried calling my local dealer's parts department, they don't have a clue. They didn't know anything about the fuel injectors, either.
