Default Long T55

Gathering my tools for replacing my rear axle hub bearings. Anyone have a source for a 3/8 drive LONG T55 Torx? Everyone has long shanks up to T50 but not T55.

I think I used a regular T55 with 3/8 drive extensions to suit.

How about scheduling a MD so some of us can come help/supervise?

Thanks Phil. Hey Thanks Tom, didn't see that set at Sears and wasn't sure how much clearance there was in that rear knuckle for a shorty. Jim, I will schedule a MV MD once I get the parts. I think I will be doing headers before this job though and I know no one wants to help with that job

I will come help put headers on your car. (If it is scheduled on a day I am not working.)

Are you planning on replacing the suspension bushings when you replace the hub bearings?

Thanks Jim. I'll schedule is on a day when you and DARRIN can come. I know how he is so looking forward to doing another hearder install .

Yeah, that's the plan. I was talking to Yun the other day since he has been down this road already.

My suggestion is do bearings, u-joints and all rear bushings simultaneously. If we have 2 teams should be able to knock it out in 8 hours or so.
