AC Delco 214-358. Amazon or Rock Auto. I am waiting on one from Amazon right now to install this weekend. You do have to cut a spline out of the connector port and swap the bracket. The originals are no longer available.

There are 2 types of the solenoid valves, the early type takes a small square foam filter and the later design takes a cylinder type filter. Does anybody know what type of filter this 214-358 takes, looks like the early design.

Maybe four Solenoid Valves?

Vacuum Solenoid for early (90' under Plenum).
Vacuum Solenoid (filter) for Later (95' under Plenum)................Solenoid for Charcoal Canister (91'-95' under Plenum).

Solenoid located on Charcoal Canister (not shown) under Drivers Headlight (90').

214-358 has the square thin filter. The spring steel filter cover snaps on to either the early or late LT5 bracket. Easy peasy. I am doing a 93 MY right now. Test your replacement solenoid before install. I had a bad one that the plastic was malformed inside the nipples.

The filter for the switch is $13.00. This is for a piece of foam that is maybe 1/8 in thick and is 5/8 by 3/4 of an inch. When I went to the dealer to buy the cylinder shaped filter the parts guy ordered this one instead. I thought it was so absurd to charge $13.00 for such a small piece of foam I paid for it and kept it,shows how smart I am.

The second switch with the silver nipple is the later design that takes the slip on filter.
