History 4-19-1990 to 5-12-2016 26 years
1st pic I took of My Dad outside the original entrance of the Bowling Green plant, notice that's half of a real 1983 Corvette hanging above the door cut the long way.. 2nd pic I took of My Dad standing next to the first and only 1983 c4 Corvette it was in the lobby of the plant at that time. I was 17 when I took these pictures. We were there to watch the first ZR-1's being built. I was not allowed to have a camera inside the manufacturing plant to take any more pictures of the ZR-1's but let me tell you it was amazing! I was bit by the ZR-1 bug and it never stopped....3rd pic I took of My son/fathers grandson at 17 years old standing next same 1983 some 26 years later now at the Museum. 4th pic My son took of me in our 1993 ZR-1 at the same spot I was in 26 years ago.
