Default 1993 ZR-1 DRM For Sale

Saw this Z searching around yesterday. 63k miles with a $28k buy price.

I'm sitting here contemplating on if I should buy this and sell my stock '90 just for the upgrades alone. Sad that it's so far away.

470rwhp by DRM, brembos, roll cage, coilovers, 3.73 gears, and more, in a rarer-than-ruby 1993 color.

Tires probably need to be replaced and windshield has some delam. Wheels and woodgrain dash are very 90s style. Car shows very well for 60k+ miles. Tempting...

Someone should tell him the directional tires are on the wrong side

Could be a good buy for someone

I'm unfamiliar with that site. When does the auction end?

It seems like a good deal with lots of expensive upgrades.

I suspect the rattle in the video is from a lightweight flywheel. What say you?

the noise seems a bit more rhythmic than an aluminum flywheel. it might just be the mic on the phone clipping the exhaust note as well.

the site itself seems to be somewhat of a BaT knock-off site, but also it is not all auctions. this car is listed in the "deal tank" section, which appears to show buy-it-now option unlike the auction sections. there is no apparent timer on cars in the deal tank, so maybe it'll just be available until the seller is happy with an offer.

Here are some of the other auctions in progress for Z's. This is where I found this one but there are others that seem to be a good value.

I'd worry about buying a ZR1 where the owner is confused on which side to put the tires. Makes me wonder what else is put on wrong.

I have a passing interest in the car but am a little concerned there is no DRM documentation for it. I suppose it?s unlikely they would have any info on the car? No luck tracking down the old Corvette Fever article, either. Seller seems cagey about how long he?s owned the car but it had some right expensive mods back in the day. It would be much, much better to have some documentation for the engine build. Otherwise, it?s a pig in a poke.
