Default Ran the Z on the dyno today

Got my 1991 Z on the dyno today. Pretty happy with the results. With a K&N filter and Borla Challenge system it made 350whp and 334wtq.

I don't mean to rain on your parade but it looks like it ran out of breath early. Do you still have the stock bellows between the filter housing and throttle body? May be collapsing if it's original. The K&N might be restricting air flow too if it's not perfectly clean.

Yes it has the stock bellows. The K&N was just cleaned. My tach is off but I wasn't sure how much till now. Tach said 7500 when I lifted.

Also, factory rating is 375hp @ 5800 rpm. Looks pretty close to me?

Lot of dynos read differently.....They are good for tuning purposes if you ask me..A dyno jet and a mustang Dyno will read differently......Pretty good numbers for the set up you have...

Thanks. Yeah I know different dynos read differently. I was just curious to see what it was putting down, especially since I've beaten a couple of newer cars that make more power. My buddy dynoed his Ecoboost Mustang the same day and he made 373/423 on 25lbs of boost but I will pull on him on the highway. I've also beaten a 400whp LS3 Camaro. Yes, I know both cars are heavier.

Realistically I was expecting more like 330whp, so I'm happy.
