Default License plate screws

I have a 91 ZR-1 that has only two screws to hold the plate. Is this standard or should there be four? Is there a PN for the original ones? Just curious and figured this would be the place to find out!

Should be 4 black Torx head screws with small washers.
They can be hard to find.

Now if the holes in the bumper are too large for the correct screws, you can take a plastic wall anchor (Grey or white is close to bumper color) and cut the flange and bottom off. Glue it in and use it as a sleeve. Don't ask me how I know this works. ;-)

Corvette Central states 91-96, shouldn't it be 90-96?

I use the same ones on my 90 that received a McClellan Mark of Excellence without a deduction for them. I did not get them from Corvette Central though
Screw Head Dia 0.305"
Washer Dia 0.662"
T15 (from memory)

Hi Phil,

These are the screws that hold the license plate itself in place, correct? Are there separate screws for the frame or does that basically fall off when you take the plate off?

Plate and Frame use the same four screws, i.e. they go through both and go into the metal inserts on the bumper cover.
