The winter ZR-1 projects are close to being finished..FINALLY
Well after a flurry of winter projects the last lingering project is coming to a close... the refinishing of the rear alloys. After 5 weeks of waiting finally got the rear alloys back from the refinisher. There was some clear coat blemishes and a few nicks...guess the wait was worth it>>>
New GY D3 tires going on in next couple days, but since ZR was on the lift took this shot...somewhat funky with alloys on without tires Thanks for Dave J for the moral support

Re: The winter ZR-1 projects are close to being finished..FINALLY
Update... had a chance to have tires installed so as of yesterday late>>>
Wow...now ready to go cruising...................NOT............ looked at Virginia inspection sticker and it expired in January Normally, would just go have inspection done today but I am out in the C6 playing with the GT40 boys. Guess that is OK for a consolation prize Well, at least after about 3 months of being up on the lift the ZR is now sitting back on the ground.

Wheels looking good! I'm not even 1/2 way thru my winter projects. Starting to look like it will be Junish before I finish the porting and the headers and rear gear stuff.. Let's hope June 1st at the latest!

Next yr's list is in the planning stages now!

Naaaaww not me Mike. Paul is the ambitious one.
My headers are still in the box! Besides my front end is almost 19 yrs old and over greased. All the boots exploded off of their bases. The car was like that when I got it. I figured that I've forced it to live on borrowed time long enough. It's high time that I did the right thing by her. Next year the rear suspension is up to the plate, ouch that's gonna leave a mark in my checkbook!

I think for next winter I will tackle the custom exhaust I thinking of...keeping the rear cans/set up (to look OEM) but a different mid section.
