Talking Teflon Washers in the rear

I have been searching for the post concerning the teflon washers that go in the rear half shaft area and cause a clicking noise. I have searched and searched and I'll be damned if I can find that post. I have the washers, part #14076924, and want to make sure they go in the right way.

Luckily, I only have one side (the damaged one) apart now so I can check the other side out before reassembly. Course I replaced the rear hubs last year and could have that side Fd up. There's a bevel on the washers. Does that goes towards the inside or outside?

Talking Re: Teflon Washers in the rear

It goes between the rear spindle and the knuckle. I have read in posts here that it can be a source of clicking type noises in the rear.

I believe the bevel goes towards the inside of the car to match the rad on the spindle. Not sure about the teflon since mine are metal.
