Default Going into Phase 2 of the Pandemic

Don’t forget you haven’t been out with your Z in a long time. These Vette jockeys forgot how to drive...[emoji4]

Do these folks not feel the car getting loose and then overcorrect? I think thats what may be happening, or maybe they panic and forget to lift the throttle. Normally when you get loose lifting the loud pedal will correct it, but if it goes too far out of shape then you are done. I have had that happen to me and luckily I did not hit anything. It was when I first got the car and I think the tires were about 10 years old. I replaced them the next day.

I’ll bet there were lots of run-flats in those vids.

Sometimes letting off the gas all of the sudden is the worst thing you can do. (Of course a sudden loss of control should be handled on a case by case basis.) Aside from that though, most of that footage looked to me like people driving outside of their level of experience, in places nobody has business driving in such a way.
