Limerock 1998
Thought some might be interested in this. It was an event/gathering in Limerock Connecticut circa 1998.
There was an unfortunate incident but till that time the ZR-1 simply wiped up all comers on the straight. It was so thrilling to see it walk by all other cars there http://img152.imageshack.us/slidesho...d=cockpitm.jpg

Re: Limerock 1998
It was indeed. As with many things nowadays I found these while looking for something else in my pics. There were not that many digital cameras back then but I had one. At the time the resolution was thought adequate. By today's standards it's ridiculously low

Re: Limerock 1998
Pretty cool. Looked like a bad wreck between 2 of the cars in the one shot. Everyone get out all right?

Actually the LT5 threw rod as I remember. Oil went spewing on the headers and caught fire.

Re: Limerock 1998
lt5 blew up, spewed oil and caught fire burning the car. everyone was ok and the car was quickly rebuilt
