He didn't have the dead-man switch attached to him and was going 90+ MPH. Notice he accelerates while air borne then get's thrown out of the bolster. Jerk.
Lucky for all of them they were in a Fountain , many other boats wouldn't have behaved as well.

I saw that and wondered what was he thinking. I had a small 33' Mach 1 with twin screws and when she was airborne I would throttle down. That has to be a newer boat with rev-limiters on the electronics.

Gee, I thought that he was trying out for the airborne division?

He should have the tee shirt with "have you dried your bottom today?" on it.

I guess with the advent of modern engine electronics you don't get kill switches with lanyards any more as standard equipment???? Although they do attach to your class I vest, if I remember right? I don't remember seeing anyone with a vest on though.
