Default Oil Cooler Lines - Corvette Central

Noticed that Corvette Central is now selling LT5 oil cooler line/hose assemblies. The metal portion is colored black...painted or powder coated. They may have been offering these lines for a while but this is the first time I've ever seen 'em. Not a bad price either: $189

Those look like NOS, but if re-manufactured, that is a FANTASTIC piece of work. I tried for months to get someone to remake them per OEM, if CC have remade them this good, i tip my hat to them!!!!

Very likely NOS and one of a kind. Doubt there are any more.

Not sure I'd trust them...That same style of crimp GM uses today leaks. Had the trans cooler lines on my 08 Silverado changed under warranty a couple months ago. I have a couple buddies that are GM tech's, they are changing them out on a regular basis. If they 'Have' got it figured out , & tell GM what your doing.

I just ordered a set of these, i'll let you know how they look when i get them. Either way, these retail cheaper than what the S/S set costs us to make, so i'm hoping they are well built.

More oil cooler lines for sale...these are reproductions...a little more expensive, from a different seller.

I stick to my original post, need to see them over time, how they handle heat, pressure etc. I 'Do' like them though...Not convinced i trust them is the problem.

I also purchased a set of these. Will let the troops know if they're any good, but only time will tell.
