Wow, seems very F1 inspired, especially that compact clutch setup and the beryllium internals. Beryllium was banned by F1 in '99. It is apparently very toxic to work with.

I did actually question the guy who sent it to me. Forget about cost & whatnot, but why would a person even attempt to try & use say Ti cams? No gain in it. Would be a pain to harden etc, etc. Berrylium rods? Good for valve seats, not so sure about rods!? I got a kick out of it still. Was waiting for someone to question it...

You know the funny thing is I always wanted to have an aluminum 7m block cast.......until I looked into the cost lol.

There are still some very nicely machined pieces in that thread, too bad they had to try to make it into something other than what it is. I did however get a good chuckle from it
