Gathering 2025 and MR11
Exciting news everyone - the ZR-1 Net Registry and Grand Sport Registry will be back in Bowling Green, KY, for Gathering 2025 from May 14-17. The week will be kicked off with a "meet n greet" the evening of May 14. We are working on an actioned-packed agenda for which we will provide details as things are firmed up.
The one thing we can announce today is that "track day" will be Friday May 16. The National Corvette Museum Motorsport Track (NCM MSP) is reserved for the afternoon of May 16. We have selected the option that provides the greatest number of laps possible per registrant during the four- hour track rental period. The cost per registrant and registration details will be available in the coming weeks. Other features of the three-day Gathering will include: an all-day poker run in the Nashville area which will include visits to interesting car collections, points of interests, and a group dinner in an amazing outdoor setting; a bourbon run, and; drag racing, as a participant or a spectator, at Beechbend Raceway Park. Other features may be added as the schedule is finalized and specific times are determined. Note also that the Gathering will follow Mountain Run 11 (MR11) which begins May 11th, so this will be an opportunity for an action-packed week for folks that have the time to participate in these back-to-back events. As noted, more information will be provided in the coming weeks, but one thing people can do now is reserve hotel rooms within the blocks reserved. For the Mountain Run, please contact George Jones directly at MR11@zrwon.com to reserve your room and a spot on MR11. The MR11 dates are as follows: Sun. May 11 - Arrival/Meet n Greet Mon 5/12 - Day 1 Tue 5/13 - Day 2 Wed 5/14 - Day 3 with a caravan to Bowling Green for those attending the Gathering. For Gathering 2025 reservations, visit Holiday Inn, Bowling Green (Wilkson Trace, University Plaza) at the following link: "%ZR-1 Net Registry and Grand Sport presents: C4 Gathering". The negotiated rate of $139.95 per night will be displayed when using this link. Should you prefer to reserve a room by phone, call 1-800 465-4329 or 270 745-0088 (Bowling Green Holiday Inn direct), and be sure to use "ZR1" when asked for the block code to secure the block rate of $139.95/night. The negotiated rate includes a hot breakfast for each of the nights reserved at the special rate. Stay tuned on the ZR-1 Net Registry and Grand Sport websites, and the ZR-1 NR Heart of the Beast publications for more details in the coming weeks. We look forward to seeing you in 2025. Bob Lambe ZR-1 Net Registry Events Chair

Re: Gathering 2025 and MR11
Thank you Bob for all the work you and others put in to make this happen. I can only imagine.
I think I will fly in from Japan for this one since it has been some years since I attended a Gathering. It will suck to be Z less so maybe I can rent a Corvette at least. Aloha! Sent from my iPhone using ZR-1 Net Registry

Re: Gathering 2025 and MR11
Just called Holiday Inn and they said the club booking is from the 14th 21st of May not 11th 14th. Something is incorrect, can leadership please look into this.

I made my Holiday Inn reservations using the link I provided and had no issues. If you're having issues making reservations by phone, I'd advise you to suggest the agent speak to Zach, the manager. I am looking at the contract which shows the dates as being Wednesday, May 14-17 (four nights) at the rate of $139.95.
