DAG Alternative?
So I've been thinking that maybe another way to replace the DAG compound might be by using plain old silicone/RTV...
I used a tiny artist brush and Permatex Red Ultra. As far as sealing the air gaps, it did well. Silicone sticks to the aluminum very well it seems... I painted the RTV on, wiped it off the blades with a Q tip and repeated a couple of times until it there was almost no light coming through. I have it setting up with the throttle blades held open for drying. Is there a reason this wont work and am I over simplifying this? Bad idea, if so why? I dont foresee any ill effects... Heres some pics. The ones with the light behind it, the TB is sitting directly on the light bulb...

Re: DAG Alternative?
Its a compound that resembles a graphite and grease mixture that was applied where you see the red silicone in my pix above. It was used where there was excessive space between the throttle blades and the throttle bores.
By the way, I did not end up keeping the silicone in the pix... it wouldnt adhere well enough for my liking. I went with the graphite spray Lee suggested.
