Default LT5 Mercury Marine Boat - Where is it now?

I was wondering whatever happened to the boat that Mercury Marine put the LT5 into and if anyone has any pics of it. I think that there are some pics in the "Heart of the Beast" book, but I was wondering if there are any more or if anyone has actually seen the boat itself.

I remember seeing that boat at the 90 NYC boat show....I think it was a glasstron or maybe a baja...MM proly still has it over at LakeX.

I don't think there were too many takers on that option, heck I don't think that there were too many mfg's offering the LT5 on their option lists'.

Hello from Switzerland,

This special boat is called the "Wette Vette" and it is a customized,
24-foot Baja 223 Bandit. You can find some fine pics and a report on it
in an issue of Corvette Quarterly, namely: Fall 1991.

Sincerely,

ZR-1 Franz ('90 ZR-1 # 982)
