Default FS: 1989-96/ZR-1 CORVETTE FIKSE FM/5 WHEELS

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

Selling my stash of Fikse FM/5 wheels. I have two 11X17 inch fronts and two 11X17 inch rears. Prefer to sell together but I will separate. Price is $2000 for everything plus $125 shipping to lower 48. In my opinion, these are the most attractive C-4 wheels made and also are strong and light. I will throw in 4 of Carter's finished ZR-1 center caps. These wheels will fit all 89-96 Corvettes and ZR-1's without large caliper aftermarket brake systems. PM me if interested.

Okay, I have to ask:

1) Is the finish on all wheels the same?
2) Condition of all wheels?
3) Fitment of each pair?
a) offset
b) size
c) any measurements or serial #s
d) did you test fit the fronts? result?

thanks,
Ted

4) Interested in selling only the rear, proper ZR-1 fitment rims?

1) Rears are a polished and clear coated center and the Fronts are micro-polished; both are very shiny and I can't tell the difference without a three foot look.

2) Excellent no rim rash, inner and outer rims are perfectly straight and they have never been repaired.

3) They will fit a ZR-1 that has a standard brake (OEM) package. Large caliper 4 piston and 6 piston sytems will not clear.

4) Offset appears to be standard ZR-1

5) Both fronts and backs are 17X11 inches. 11 inch fronts fit. A plus is the 11 inch fronts are perfect for autocross.

6) Fronts are part # 2595 and backs are #3080 (as stamped in outer rim )

7) Yes, they fit. See #3 above.

8) Yes, I will sell fronts or rears or all four. I will not sell individual wheels.

Demps, You've got $2000 in pocket change !! You really need some of these. Buy 2 or 4. Hey, I am throwing in the redone Fikse centers made by the one and only Carter. I guarantee fit unless you are using a non GM C-4 brake package.

I was buying them for a car with Wilwoods. The Wilwoods fit behind A-molds. What keeps them from fitting behind your 11" fronts? The two different finishes bothers me. Can you send me some pictures--the face(s) of each and then lay then down and parallel to the ground of the bead area with the wheels laying flat side-by-side. thanks

I may be interested in one of the rears as a spare wheel for the attic. If Demps does not want the set does anybody else out there need a spare 11X17 with the polished outer and clearcoated inner? Greg said he will let these go in pairs. LMK GC.

Demps, my Brembos fit under A-molds also. Fikse standard 89-96/ZR-1 wheel has nearly a three inch outer rim and 3 mm less offset. It will not clear the big brakes and sticks out a good 2 inches beyond the fenderline. Ugly situation. Note how narrow the outer rim is on the A-mold. Wheels are beautiful in general but not for you. When I say stock GM brakes, I mean Stock GM brakes. Don't know about C-5 brakes on a C-4. They might slide by. C-6 no.

If these fronts stick 2" past the fenderline, how do they fit correct with stock C4 brakes? Don't they still stick 2" past the fenderline?

Dennis, my comment is confusing. I am assuming a spacer would be necessary to clear a big brake caliper. Depending on how big a spacer is necessary they will stick out accordingly. I should have said with my brake system (Movit) stuck out 2 " beyond the fenderline. Big Red Brembos require more room than a Wilwood I believe and my rotor hats act as a spacer in my system. Fits A-mold but does not fit aftermarket wheels without customizing. So... The result may be significantly better than I painted it. I hope so. Thanks for pointing out my misstatement. The Fikse ZR-1 wheel has a standard 53 mm front offset vs. the GM A-mold which is 56mm. While that difference is relatively small and has no effect on stock GM brakes, it can be magnified if a spacer is necessary. The question is in Demps case, does he need more than 53 mm for his offset to clear the Fikse's with his 6 piston Wilwoods ? Confused, I am !!!

I get it now. I think?? The will only stick out if you use the spacers to clear a big brake package, otherwise stock breaks and no spacers and they fit right.

I hope I have that right.

Good luck on selling them.
