1990 #1581
How can anyone not love a C4? I've owned a boatload of C2 & C3 and certainly think they're fantastic but, the C4 just does it for me.
Here is #1581 showing off in the driveway awaiting a photoshoot for an upcoming BaT auction. One of not many Black/Red manual AC equipped ZR-1s...

With new and used car prices as high as they are, a good C4 LT1, L98, or , of course, the LT5 are dirt jeep. Looking for a used car for my daughter now. 2008 hoopty Camry's Accord's or even Malibu's with close to 200k miles are bringing 10k+ . I agree, I am proud to drive and arrive or heck even just park and look my my C4's. What gets me is if you look on some sites, even here sometimes, but especially FB, you have posts like my engine my car won't start, could I put a used plug wire on it, and how do you get to the plug wire? My check engine light is on, can I just remove the bulb, and how do you do that. Or my personal favorite "my car is running terrible, sounds like it is missing on several cylinders and white smoke keeps coming out of the exhaust, would putting some fuel cleaning in the tank fix this?" . I just have to shake my head. I just try to remember that is another C4 down the drain. Just means mine are still appreciating! You should read some of the C4 dedicated groups on FB, pure carnage and mutilation of C4's....painful man, just painful!! Sometime funny though. There was one today, I inherited this car (C4) from my dad. I went and drove it and it started missing and came to a stop and dies. It appears someone put the orange Dex-Cool in it (a picture was posted of old Dex-cool overflowing from heat in the over flow tank. "Can I just change the coolant will that make it run right?" insert eye roll and head shaking.
