Toe/Heal 2017

Well BG is getting closer and I just wanted to repost this thread to give you guys a heads up that I would very much like to tutor or help in any way to have you guys toe/healing all over the place in your C4 ZR-1 Corvettes .
I ask that if you are interested to give this post from last year a once over so when we meet up in BG you will have a better under standing of what why when and were you would want to toe/heel ...
I will be bringing my set of sim peddles which I agree are not like that of a C4 Corvette but it will help you visually of how your foot placement is applied to the pedals ...
Not sure if this will be fitted into our already amazing event's schedule but I am sure there will be lots of time after the main events to give you guys/gals some pointers in the hotel lobby , lunch time at the track or anywhere I can set up a chair and the pedals is all we will need ...

Mike, I'm in. I try to do this in my cowboy boots but find the pedals way to far apart. Maybe it's the footwear. Anyway, count me in. - Steve

Interesting . Never tried toe/heal with cowboy boots . I suggest removing the spurs

I am in too, Mike. Had lots of training at Fellows last year, but rusty after a year.

My cowboy boots are actually my most comfortable drive shoe. I think I' going to try a real pair of driving shoes.

I keep looking for the "activate rev matching" paddle in the Z but can't seem to find it.

Although the last time I drove a C-7 Z06, I went to lower the radio volume and mistakenly engaged the rev matching feature.

Liked that "music" much better anyway!

At any rate, the old heel and toe days may be at risk. Kids today just hit the lever.

Get a second pair and take off the heal with a knife . Also remove the spurs . Then maybe you can keep your boots on for traction . The boots have to flex Steve as you need to point your toe like a pretty ballerina ...

Always wanted to master this. Just can't seem to keep my leg up without it getting tired. I will bring my Piloti driving shoes.

Yes ... I believe even in the race world they do not have to toe/heel anymore unless you race vintage like Mark .
... It makes driving that much more fun and interesting plus that LT5 magic sound will happen when you blip the throttle ...
