Spring is Coming!
Hey all:
A little early taste of spring for us Northerners! After pestering Darin for nearly 3 years, he finally put up the video of me piloting his '94 ZR-1 to an 11.90@118mph. Mods are as follows: Headers, 4.10s, and Hoosier Quick Time Pros. The day couldn't have been better: mid 40s in February. Can't see the ET on the tower, but he has the slip! Enjoy and Turn It Up; those old Tri-Flows sound amazing! I am *ready* for spring!!! http://www.darindivinia.com/Darin_Di...1_vs._911.html Brian A 90 ZR-1 12.09@118 01 Z06 not quite stock |

FU:
Yeah, Darin's car was really strong for an unopened motor. Best mine did with the same mods was 12.09@118. Then again, I did launch his a bit harder than I do my own.... I believe the short time on that run was a 1.67, and it *still* bogged. He only let me run it once, but I'm confident with another couple tries it would have run in the 11.80s, maybe even a high 11.70 that day. ZR-1s are very strong with just a few well-placed mods. Combine that with a cool day and they really are quite amazing for such an old car. Brian A. 90 ZR-1 12.09@118mph 01 Z06 not quite stock |
