New to me 1993 ZR-1, #135
The car arrived just over 3 weeks ago. The car is in very nice condition. Some of you may recognize this car from post by member djhome23 who did a lot of work in 2018/2019 to cosmetically restore this car. Excellent work. I have been able to drive it a few times and it sounds awesome with the Watson Headers, Boral exhaust, no cats, 4:10 gears, and a Z-Industries chip. I has a little stumble/misfire when tipping into the throttle so some trouble shooting work for me. If I roll in gently it doesn't seem to stumble/misfire, but more aggressive throttle application brings on the stumble/misfire. For now, it will be an occasional driver and I will show it at some of the local shows in the mid-Willamette valley area of western Oregon. It is a nice addition to go along with my 2008 Z06. A few pictures of this ZR-1 below. Brian

Get a chip from Haibeck. The Z-Industries is pretty old calibration and not really all that different than stock.

Nice ride!
And, it's common knowledge in the ZR-1 community that the red ones are the fastest ones! 😀 Betcha already knew that? |
