Homage to Lotus
Found Lotus cam cover emblems online and decided to put them on. Was a big conversation starter at cars and coffee last weekend.

Re: Homage to Lotus
I got some Lotus decals/stickers like that when I had the '93. Put them in my rear window. Once went to a local annual British Car Union show and asked if I could park in the Lotus section--thought it would attract some favorable attention for the Lotus guys. With a stiff upper lip they said no thanks, wouldn't allow an American car near them. (Even though the show allowed Nash Metropolitans with an Austin engine). Oh well. Gave one to Marc H and I think he put it on the underside of his hood. Lots available if one searches on line. --Bob

Re: Homage to Lotus
Here's mine...
Made from an enameled lapel pin, about an inch and a quarter diameter, with pin removed, a slight dab of automotive RTV holds it in place. Obtained from a vendor at a British car show. He thought I was nuts when I told him they were going on a Corvette... Last edited by Mystic ZR-1; 10-26-2020 at 02:31 PM. |

Re: Homage to Lotus
I have Color Coordinated Ruby Red Fuzzy Dice.
It drives the NCRS types crazy! No matter; All toy cars should have fuzzy dice! ( Steering wheel spinners are not required ) If only I could get Baby Moon hubcaps to stay on the Dymags.............. Marty |
