Default Brake booster check valve

Unfortunately I broke mine yesterday. Ran a search on Ebay and priced $117 to $213! Evidently NLA from GM.
Anyone found a non-OEM that works? I'm not a NCRS type and just need one that would function.

Thanks.

Yun, is yours broken, as in, it's cracked / it won't hold vacuum / won't stay connected to booster or hose? Or is the check valve failed but structurally it's still intact?

Found this on RockAuto. It lists a million different cars as applications it fits -- perhaps it's close enough? All you really need is an exact fit at the booster, the hose is much easier to adapt.

I broke the fitting. I sleeved it and glued it together but not sure if permanent or not. Kinda scary if it breaks off - no power!

yeah, you'll still have brakes, but you'll need some muscle without the vacuum assist

for under $20 the part I found above might be worth a try.

Also, check the "HELP" rack at your local auto parts store. They usually have these check valves there, so you can bring yours and try to match it up. Counter guys should have a caliper to measure the diameters with.

I guess I will have to pry it off. Last night while trying to pry it off, all I did was break the flange! Guess I will try again w/ 2 flat head screw drivers.
There must be about 250,000 C4s running around and no brake check valve?!

I have a used brake booster if you get to that point. I have never tried to disassemble one.
