Default Oil pressure gauge problem

My gauge pegs soon as I turn on the ignition . Is it the sensor or something else ?

Unplug the sensor. If it doesn't move from 0, probably the sensor

Yes, but when professionally applied, a pair of small channel locks work just fine.

If unprofessionally applied a hammer works good, too.
