What's the latest info on order date and pricing(given the current quantity requested)? I already have the Lingenfelter red hoses so I might be up for a red air intake duct.

Ok guys, here is the latest. All the colors will be available for both the Air Ducts, and the coolant hose kits. The colors are blue, black, red, green, purple, yellow and orange.

That is the good news. The bad news is that it looks like we will not reach the amount needed for any substantial price break beyond the $158.00 that I originally posted. That is actually a price break compared to their retail price of almost $180 per unit. For us to get down to the $130 range like we had hoped, we will need more orders. So I suspect that the air ducts will cost around $150-$160 unless we have more orders come in. If we were to get a decent amount of Coolant Hose kits ordered, we might reach the price point to reduce the cost of both. So at this point I think the coolant hose kits will come in at around $240-250 and I should have all the prices worked out early this week.

I want to put in the order this week, so if you know of anyone else who needs either the Air Duct, or the Coolant Hose kit have them post their requests here ASAP.

I missed this question.

According to Samco their Sport clip kits are designed to be used with fitted hose kits to ensure the best and safest possible fitment. However, I am pretty sure they do not make them for the LT5 coolant kit. I will double check tomorrow, but I do not see their clamps as being vital for a proper fit. If you want to replace your old clamps with new ones, they are readily available from GM. I can provide you with the part numbers if you like.

It consists of all 6 coolant hoses namely two coolant pipe hoses, one outlet lower hose, one outlet upper hose, one bypass hose, and one
inlet rear hose. This is the same kit you may have seen being offered at $370, but we should be able to get them for $240-$250.

Thanks for your help Z Factor!

The gest of this is, if I understand you correctly, I can do one of the following:

Buy new GM clamps. P/N's would be great!!
Re-use my old stock sprung steel clamps.
Buy new screw type S/S clamps with a rolled edge.
If Samco has a kit for the LT5 I can buy theirs, if I can find some one to sell it to me.

Thanks for all your effort to help me out!

Tom

Postal money order is okay? How do we pay for this stuff?

My pleasure Tom.

The GM part#'s are as follows;

clamp#15024902
clamp#10108249
clamp#10158012
clamp#1516233

If Samco has a kit for the LT5 (which I am checking on) we will be able to order it with our group purchase, however, I do not think they do. I should know by Wednesday.

As to payment, Paypal, cashiers check, or money orders will be fine. As soon as I get a final price, hopefully by tomorrow, I will send out emails/PM's to everyone signed up.

Hello Bob, and welcome to the forum.

Are you referring to the Air Duct, the Coolant kits, or both?
