Re: Delamination Poll
My 92 had delamination around the edges, not too bad. Replaced it after a stone put a crack in it with one of the $2500 ZR-1 aftermarket replacements with the cutout. Insurance paid for it after a 2 month battle of explaining that they have to replace factory spec if available and yes it is aftermarket, not OEM. If OEM they wanted me to pay the difference but I was able to prove that this is what they had to provide.

Re: Delamination Poll
Isn't it true that an original ZR-1 windshield can cost upwards of $ 3,000 dollars? My 91 came with a replacement windshield...

Re: Delamination Poll
I do not believe any original ZR-1 windshields are available but there is aftermarket clone with the correct cutout available at a cost of around $2500. A regular C4 windshield which will also fit but without the cutout is less than $500

Re: Delamination Poll
Upon replacing my WS, I found many places that were willing to make the attempt on my C4. But, don't be surprised when they find out it is a C4 Corvette; many WS installation sources will not do a C4 (I found).
Safelite installed my (standard C4) WS, but I had to goto a specific (brick and mortar) location where a person experienced with C4s was located and would do the job.

Re: Delamination Poll
Thanks for sharing. What were the pieces you couldn’t locate for the replacement?

You’re welcome. Yes, just as Jeff said it was those three pieces of metal trim around the windshield. I was not able to find new and mine were perfect so I just told the installers to carefully replace. They did a great job in saving it and reusing.
