Thanks, I just have to figure out a way to fit them into 90 MY wheels or get rid of the wheels.

Just go to the 96 CE/GS calipers, they are a direct fit and have the correct corvette C4 Script. No adapter brackets required.

Looks and performs better than the earlier J55s

I have a painted set ready to go in my parts bin lol

GC,

Thanks for your thoughts and what I bought some years ago when I first got my Z and it was stock was what I was told are GS calipers.

My understanding is they are a slight improvement over the J55s as you mentioned, but looking for more improvement and it seems I might have to just get rid of the 90MY wheels to get what I am looking for. I am still waiting for SSBC to get back to me about some of their products are might fit in the 90 wheel, but still might not be much of an upgrade over the older J55s. I still have limitations with the Dymag Gen IIs, but they can at least fit the C5 brakes (again, not a big improvement?). Thanks for your thoughts.

I'm currently doing a c6 zr1 set up. It is kind of over kill for the car,but i love the look and the performance of it. The rotors are coming soon, now if i could just get the motor going.

Ricky,Craig and David, thank you for the comments. Yes i am doing the rear also. These calipers are really massive it makes the c6 z06 calipers looks small.

So is there anyone with experience upgrading the brakes in their 90MY OEM wheels? What fits? Thanks!
