Well we are home, its been 5weeks 3days, 10,740 miles, 29 states, 55 museums one airshow and one accident. The car is in the shop and all new parts have been ordered and I'll be there twice a day till its finished. I want to thank you guys for all the help. I hope to see you all at the ZR1 celebration at the Vette museum.

Glad you guys are home safe and sound.

What a trip and experience.
Testament to the Z and it's performance capabilities. As I mentioned when you got the car, I had no worries about it making the trip. 10,000 miles, wow that's incredible. I mean, lots of people have picked up these cars and driven them home, but...10k.

Unbelievable@!!!! How about writing an article on that for "Heart of the Beast?"

If interested, let us know! Love to hear your honest opinion.

Congrats on a great trip.

You might post a WTB on the "parts for sale/wanted" section. The member I sold mine to, may be willing to sell one. I will email him to see.

Jeff Flint said he had one when you first posted, His handle is Jeffvette here.

Visit the registry home page and join up Dave. Support the club, we already gave you your money's worth right? It keeps us all linked together for events, parts, tech advice and preservation of the ZR-1 Corvette. Without it we are screwed. http://zr1netregistry.com/

"Heart of the Beast", by Anthony Young is the ultimate tribute to our cars. It will tell you everything about the ZR-1 from conception to production. There is a copy floating around the country right now. Here's the post on it. http://www.zr1netregistry.com/forum/...ead.php?t=6927

Enjoy the info.

Actually the "Heart of the Beast" Dave was referring to is the club newsletter that comes out every quarter to all paid members of the Registry. Once you join, you have access to all the newsletters from the last three or four years. There is a load of information in each and everyone. Tech, owners write ups (like I hope you will do on your adventures), parts and specials for club members. There's loads of other info in the members section that is only accessible as a paid member too.

Oh yeah, when you join, you also get a bitchen t-shirt.
