Just found this thread thanks for the great information. Mine are getting a bit tired looking as well. Out of curiosity is this a part you can locate nos or are there reproductions available? Or is you best bet to remove and respray yourself as detailed here?

Wow.....I do apologize doctorjay61 as its been over 2 years since I've checked this post.....needless to say....I feel you're better off doing it yourself if you have the time and the patience to do the job.....as it is time consuming.....but well worth it IMO.....started on the 3 pieces in the wheel well itself.....posting below.....

Since my 94 is very much apart....now with the wheel well liners out....it's time to get them looking like new again...when done the Z should be looking good....and not worry about doing this again in my lifetime....[emoji848][emoji848][emoji16]

No worries at all! I'm still in the original experimentation phase that you went through. Bought some extra sets from a junk yard so that I can mess around with them. I'm trying out the plastic restorer product that eastwood sells. Seems to work really well so far. It just wont fill in any imperfections so they need to be in good shape to begin with. Also have the same problem with it being a 94 and not having torx screw heads.

LF rear liner finished....that wheel well is completed and waiting for install.... some other pics of today's activities...limited I may add....
Pic #1...although this angle shows light reflection....it came out really good...
Pic #2...LR wheel liner removed....will need some new torx bolts and u-nuts....plenty of road grime buildup like all of the others...
Pic #3...inside of wheel liner...
Pic #4...some surprise items in the rocker panel....
Pic #5...seems to clean up fairly easy with a partial wipe down...
Pic #6....a wire going nowhere...seems like it could be a ground for the antenna....but don't really know....lol 20201024_162928.jpg20201024_141640.jpg20201024_141632.jpg20201024_161407.jpg20201024_162351.jpg20201024_165721.jpg

Additional cleaning today and found some factory marking under the dirt...didn't realize they would be there....glad I went over the area lighty..interesting how they designated that this is a "Z"....don't know what the other #'s mean....will have to check my build sheet....
Pic #1...factory markings....
Pic #2...The shocks were completely covered in heavy crud....still in the process of removing the rest....wondering if this was somewhat undercoated at one time...as the shocks were 100% covered...
Pic #3...Another view. ....
Pic #4...Still cleaning....not for show....just to be clean...
Pic #5...Even where the liner attaches to the rear bumper had grime issues....now cleaned....
