This 1990 will NOT be driven by me. It's like my wife said " It's as pretty as a 4 carrot diamond " You would not write on the back of the Declaration of Independence , just because you need a piece of paper
You would really have to see this car to believe it and understand Polo's reluctance to drive it.

This car is History. you can not go buy a new one from GM again. This one is untitled. It still is in MSO GM.
I spent all day Saturday with it (Oh yeah, and Kevin, Linda and Jeff too) and let me tell you, it just reaks of museum.

Anybody else been around a car with these kind of miles on it?

A Good argument can be made by both sides. As always the final decsion to drive it or not comes from the person writing the check . I try to keep mine show quality buy also enjoy taking her out and slapping her in the *** to get my grin on.

The car is being enjoyed no matter how he uses it.

Interior shot as requested:

Now the story on the car...

The car was special ordered as a "Big Brake" & "Race Package" car (one of 233) by a gentleman who intended to gut it and race it.
Prior to delivery of the car he was tragically involved in a horrific racing accident and paralyzed.
The car spent the next 25 years in storage.
After the owner passed away, the car was dusted off and driven by a relative for a couple of years accumulating about 23,000 miles on the odometer, and subsequently put back into storage.
Fast forward to 1990, my buddy hears about a rare Corvette at an estate sale and stops by with his bottomless checkbook. He never did tell me what he paid for the car, or the cost of it's subsequent restoration, but it's beautiful beyond description. The paint is original, and so is most of the interior. She starts up and purrs like a kitten. There's nothing that sounds better than a fuel injected solid lifter small block with the original off-road chambered exhaust.
It gets driven fairly regularly, but due to it's rarity and bias ply tires, it doesn't ever get to run at speeds any where near what Zora intended it to run.
