Interior shot as requested:
![]() Now the story on the car... The car was special ordered as a "Big Brake" & "Race Package" car (one of 233) by a gentleman who intended to gut it and race it. Prior to delivery of the car he was tragically involved in a horrific racing accident and paralyzed. The car spent the next 25 years in storage. After the owner passed away, the car was dusted off and driven by a relative for a couple of years accumulating about 23,000 miles on the odometer, and subsequently put back into storage. Fast forward to 1990, my buddy hears about a rare Corvette at an estate sale and stops by with his bottomless checkbook. He never did tell me what he paid for the car, or the cost of it's subsequent restoration, but it's beautiful beyond description. The paint is original, and so is most of the interior. She starts up and purrs like a kitten. There's nothing that sounds better than a fuel injected solid lifter small block with the original off-road chambered exhaust. It gets driven fairly regularly, but due to it's rarity and bias ply tires, it doesn't ever get to run at speeds any where near what Zora intended it to run.
