Re: Considering selling the beast ....
Buying a Z that has had the typical stuff done to it will put any potential buyer light years ahead of one without having that work done.
I bought mine mid this year and the PO had done almost all the things that would be to my own liking.... I mean everything... Bill B trans, Dr, Dons stereo refurb with BT... starter, injectors, wires... and the list goes on. The only thing I wanted to do was headers so far... and then really the only inoperable or poorly working things left on the car are the seat tracks/motors need replaced. I don't think you'll have a hard time selling as long as the buyer knows these cars, they will know that its pretty much turn key. These cars are pay me now or pay me later situations.

Re: Considering selling the beast ....
Ya know guys, after sitting here thinking it over, rereading some of your comments and to seal the deal, walking down into the garage and looking at her..... I have decided to keep it! With the way the build turned out I honestly think it's one of the best looking c4s out there, (not to seem to full of myself). Its literally got a couple different features that make it the only one on planet earth that has them (brakes/wheels) at least that I'm aware of. I'm keepin it.....I have to, it's to good to let go. Even if I was able to get low 30s out of it I'd be loosing money so why not just keep it. I cant wait until I'm able to take the picture of both z's sitting in the garage, 1 of which will be a c6zr1😉. Thanks for the encouragement and guidance guys...... she stays!

Re: Considering selling the beast ....
Both of you need to settle your issues offline. This is a thread about someone openly discussing interest in selling their ZR. Let's keep it focused on that issue ONLY. If you can"t do that, I'll suspend BOTH your posting rights.
Your ball.

Re: Considering selling the beast ....
Well if I'm keeping her looks like I better get to putting in the new flywheel/ clutch😁. I ordered a fidanza and a centerforce a while back, I also got the bolts/shims/bearing from marc so should make for a smooth installation. Cant wait to hear it spin up!
Anyone have any tips before I dive in? Last edited by zr1assassin; 12-20-2018 at 10:56 PM. |
