I had a 55GPM electric WP in my Z for about 4 years, as everybody knows i don't road race or any kind of circle track racing only drag race.
The 55GPM with 160* t-stat with holes and fans on at 170*it was awesome in hot summer traffic if i left my Z idling for a while she would run up to temp fans on at 170* it would cool her down 165* fans would go off it would do this all day long.
Remember the electric pump constantly pumps 55GPM no matter the RPM.
Went back to stock water pump what i notice is my fans run nonstop (fans on 170* same T-stat) in traffic once i start moving and get air to the radiator is the only time she will cool down to 160-165.

I think with stock water pump we need more air to radiator.
Tony Davila has tested/added an extra fan to the front of his radiator and he has mentioned it helped keep temps down.

One point regarding engine control and coolant temps. I believe Pete runs his calibration in Open Loop. The ECM goes Closed Loop ~ 64C, but it does not update the BLMs until CTS reaches 80C or 180F. So if your chip is programmed for Closed Loop, it will not update fueling as you drive because it does not "Learn" at temps under 80C.

I have the ud water pump pulley and after the install my engine temps always are near 180 - 190. Hottest day here in Chicago as about 93* with high humidity, 45 minutes in rush hour traffic and my car gets up to 214* at most. Once I start moving again the temps come down quickly to ~200. This is with the a.c. on and a fluidyne radiator.

The car can idle in the hot weather all day and not pass 200*. I believe with rush hour traffic the heat from all the cars, and me needing a new front air dam I can run cooler.

I have installed a pusher fan in front of the radiator but I have not needed to connect it.

I have no regrets with my setup and no over heating issues.

My experience w the Fluidyne is the same as Karl. I have the fans come on at
87 and 90C and that's enough to keep temps below 212F even in the 90s. Once driving, temps don't get above 190F.

Pete.....received the Stock size Aluminum Black Water Pump Pulleys today.....very very nice. Can you get one more Stock size Black Water Pump Pulley by any chance?

P.S. For those thinking it is complicated to remove the original stock water pump pulley.....NOT

All you have to do is remove the Air Duct and Air Horn (6 torx). Then remove 4 (8mm heads) Water Pump Pulley bolts (Take tension off the belt tensioner and hold). Slip old water pump pulley off and up in front of the Alternator and out. Reverse for installation of New Aluminum Water Pump Pulley.

The only issue is these are the last ones with the holes he doesnt want to do holes the only way he will do them is at extra cost.$100
The holes started cause i wanted them as light as possible for myself.
Now on no holes same old price with holes add $100

Carter added six holes in the Billet Aluminum Water Pump Pulleys. Unbelievable Perfect Modification. Thanks Pete for the suggestion on having Carter do a modification adding holes and thanks Carter for a Perfect Modification
