Speaking of the good Doctors Lambo! I was texting him one day and he said men oh man! You really need to come over and get a ride in this thing. Said it would ruin my life. When I set up a beer and pizza night once a month here in Houston like the FBI then I'm sure I'll get a ride. Theres bad. And then there's super bad. Its super bad.

Why not. Why do some of us put tens of thousands into an old ZR-1 for? Cuz we can.

Go with cams.

I would go all out intake and exhaust cams i know Corey can tune and will make that thing run good.

Don't be afraid of the cams, cams are your friend.

The difference, price of cams and an extra 25 hp.

I would suggest .236 .425 Intake .220 .410 Exhaust.

Pete
Pete,

How expensive is it to upgrade to these cams? Also, how do they affect low end torque? Would they yield any benefit on a car that has stock non-ported heads?

I wonder why i never read on this forum about anyone installing the juice on our cars. Is it a fear that blowing something up could be very costly? Or is it that since our cars are more exotic, keeping them naturally aspirated is just more the norm. Sorry, didn't mean to stray off topic. Whoever this Sanjay guy is, he is one baaaaad boy

there used to be a few big cube cars in FL that were sprayed. if you search the old registry emails that are on the zr1.net site http://maillist.corvettemuseum.com/c....exe?A0=ZR1NET you'll find Julio talking about his races with his 408 and I think the car when it was still a 368. Kurt talked about spraying his 415 also. Why more people don't spray now, I have no idea.

He's got one of the most impressive car collections I've ever seen. Mostly exotics. But even though he's move up to super high end exotics he still loves his 90 LPE 415 ZR-1. That was one of his first really fast cars he had. Very good guy.
