Had mine for several years and love it. Works for me.

I got a good deal on a lightly used one right after I bought my car.
Of all the purchases I've made since the madness began, the KwikLift is the one I'm most confident I won't lose my azz on.

Kwiklift will be here this week and my only issue is getting the Z from jack stands onto Kwiklift

I will put the front wheels back on the Z and lower the rear wheels back onto the concrete from the wood blocks. Three of us will push the Z out of the garage, install Kwiklift, Turn the Z around, and.............I have not figured out how three of us can push the Z up onto Kwiklift

I could push the Z with another vehicle but where do you push on the Z

That will work...thanks....I can connect the come-a-long to one of the stands (maybe with a chain) on the high side and pull the Z up......If I run out of length, I can just block the Z on the Kwiklift and reset the chain

I don't think 3 guys will be able to push the Z onto the lift. It is a pretty sharp angle. I had to put the non-slip tape on just so my tires wouldn't slip on the lift. Why not just drive it on??? Better then a come-along. Good luck with your choice - you will really like the lift. Be sure to get the tires centered on the ramps or you will have a heck of time trying to find places to put jacks when it comes to take the tires off.

Thanks for the tips

I have my heads off engine, exhaust off, radiator off, front wheels off, CATS off, Air injection system off .......

I will put front wheels back on temporarily (off for C5 Z06 brakes) to get er up on the Kwiklift.

How do the chocks work? Can you put the two chocks anywhere on the ramp or are there slots for the chocks?

Once chocks are positioned on the ramp, I assume they will not slip at all?

I see several guys park on the slanted ramps. I assume you drive up on ramp and just set parking brake? Then prolly get out and set chocks?

Chocks go anywhere. when i park inclined, I set the brake, leave it in gear and set the chocks behind the rear wheels..
no issues in the 5 years I have had my lift

Subject: USED KWIKLIFT

Another used lift offering from TEC-

I have just completed a deal to take in trade a like new Kwiklift. This is ideal for garage owners with low overhead clearance that want to get under their cars quickly and safety. This was originally purchased as the Kwiklift Special with Red powdercoat finish, approach ramps and center bridge. New cost is $1,499.00 plus shipping. We will have possession on or before March 7th.

For more detail: http://www.kwiklift.com/features-all.htm

This unit won't last long so act quick if you have a need for this.

$1,000.00 takes it.
