After cleaning up the engine compartment the axles were fitted including four new wheel bearings and hubs with new shock absorbers in the rear. The two front shock absorbers were overhauled by the manufacturer Bilstein. The transmission tunnel was covered with heat protection foil.

Instead of the original rubber brake hoses I installed black coated, stainless steel covered Teflon brake hoses and a new master cylinder on top.

When I started with the body the impact absorber bars and the bumpers were fitted in front and rear. The bare doors were fitted to the frame.
