I really think the higher powered alternator putting extra power to the blower motor is the answer to all of us who think the AC in our cars is underpowered. I enjoyed the high airflow of warm air driving home and can only imagine what the AC will feel like this summer. There is a very noticeable before and after.

Thanks Joe, it was quite the pucker factor drive home but my PS2's did far better than I thought they would in the cold (average 17 degrees) and snow and slush. Glad I had training in the past. For 4 years of college I drove my 69 Mustang with 60 series tires in the rear in the Boston area all year long. Taking the ramps in snow or even going up a hill was a challenge. Back then I was invincible, now I know better!

Ha Ha--In college I once drove my '68 Hemi Roadrunner from Bethlehem PA to home outside of New York in a snowstorm that deposited over 6 inches of snow during the trip. Roads were largely unplowed. When I stopped for gas the attendant was amazed that I was driving in it at all. Very carefully lugging it in second gear from a stop and lot anticipation for turns and stops. Mostly not stopping if I could avoid it. Also once had to drive my '93 ZR-1 home from a McCormick Place Corvette show in a November snowstorm. Same approach applied. It can be done but also can be, as you say, pucker-inducing.--Bob
