BTW, this was an NCRS top flight car, too! the insurance company through the corvette museum was steller in the whole process. they totaled it, obviously, and paid more than the stated value because of his driving record. how cool is that? kuddo's to the corvette museum insurance!!!

Thanks for the update! Very glad the driver is ok. Sad that he "lost" his Z, but there are others out there. I hope he can get back in one soon and finish the ride he was on..

in the copart pictures the Right front looks to be full of air. Left front has lost its bead to the rim.
Glad your friend will recover, but the damage to the car seems like more force than a 42mph hit to something

at my age and memory, i could have mixed up sides on the front tire being flat. either way, it's causing quite a storm over on the corvette forum website. i'm just trying to get the facts out there as i know them. alot of people over there are judge, jury and executioner all rolled up into one. oh well. i'm just glad he's still with us. the corvette can be replaced.
