One thing I love about the ZR1 is that one would never expect what is lurking under the hood :

The car was challenged by a late model M5 BMW on the way home from BG
And got 26+ MPG on the way home too boot.

David, The owners name is Raymond. He was extremely cool and race knowledgeable! He actively races that C4 and carries his own "Harbour Freight" trailer with his spare parts and tires. Fast as stink around the course too!

Jerry, I told you someone spit shinned your car. Here is the proof. They even melted a little boot polish to take out the scuff marks.

Oh...AIN'T THAT THE TRUTH! (I hope you left them with at least ONE of their doors still not SUCKED OFF!! )

No such fun on our way home on this trip. Probably have to lie in wait at the next cruise-in "park n brag" show next month. There's always a ricer or a C5 or 6 needing their ears pinned back. (But, I gotta be kerful of dem C6 Zs tho!...well, I do at least. But, not YOU, huh Frank?)

Having some difficulties uploading photos, so hope these few photos of the Zee on display at NCM during the '15 Gathering go through. This fantastic experience and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity took the sting out of missing track day on Thursday. I look forward to having a fun track day with everyone at the '16 Gathering which I am sure will be as much fun or more as this year's great event.

Hi Bob--
Your car looked great--also excellent pictures. I didn't realize you went for a polished look on the engine--it looks terrific! Enjoy it this summer and let me know if you take a trip over Chicago way.--Bob
