Ha Ha....awesome subject! My wife is Chinese & motion sickness prone. I can tell, when I "can" drive a 475 HP LT-5 when she doesn't complain. Her perception, because It's hard to get & get out....it's old & junk! I wonder what she'll say, when she finds the 6 vettes I didn't tell her about!

I lucked out - My wife loves vettes. She's on the title of all of them and hasn't left me yet! Must be true love! (or my days are numbered! I keep asking why RICKYRJ1 keeps appearing in my will.)

Re: "I hate your car" is what she said...
My wife is not afraid to dig in and work on a car. She doesn't have the "skills" that I have - but she will read how to do something and then give it her best shot. She rebuilt a 4cyl Ford when she was in High School by herself...
As to the ZR - she loves the car, REALLY loves it when I jump on the go pedal - but she HATES the seats. Went on a 200 mile road run with the club last weekend and she was hatin it pretty bad....

LOL! Now you know why I keep offering to detail the cars for you? I guess I better check my will in case you made a counter strike with my wife

I asked: "If there is one thing that put you over the top when you decided to marry me, what would it be?" "THE VETTE!" Ami, my wife, said w/o a moment hesitation!

Quote:
A guy spent a lot of time driving and working on his ZR-1 and it was a perfect car. One day his relatively new wife came into the garage and said "You spend an awful lot of time working on that car. We never do anything, and I think you should just get rid of that car and spend more time with me". From under the Z the guy said, "You know, you sound a lot like my ex wife". "What? I didn't know you'd been married before," said his wife. "I haven't been", he said.
