Now if I made after market stuff for c4 c5 and c6's then it would be worth it. But unfortunately I don't know a Damn thing about a c5 or c6 to know what could be improved on them. So its a non starter. And as far as gaskets and used and Nos parts go Jerry's got that covered.
The niche that we represent is less than 100 of the >5888 available cars. So if you build anything you might have 2% of all ZR-1 owners that are interested.

As far as any mechanical NA parts go Carter has that cover. And if its something that requires CNC machines to make I've got that covered. But I think what is going to be absolutely crucial to reproduce are the electrical wireing harnesses. Once those fall apart we are in trouble. Somebody needs to start thinking about that now.

Being that the majority of my business is 53-55 Corvettes, I've found it necessary to manufacture around 15 items. With a total of only 300 53's produced, you'd think that there would barley be a market for parts. Not true. While some of my parts are under $500 each, some are well over $2k for each part. Keep in mind that the ZR-1 market is even larger.

I doubt that anyone could actually make much of a living selling just aftermarket parts for ZR-1's. Supplementing your income or business is very possible supplying to our market though, IMO.

Most parts requested for me to consider manufacturing would have to be $500 or more to justify my labor. Anything less just isn't worth my time unless it's easy to manufacture or farmed out to a small job shop, which some are.

So, with that being said, the airbox is only worth what someone feels it's worth. $500??? No biggie. I like the looks and the craftsmanship. I don't drag race or like high speed anyway. Just a lot of torque.

Sweet! I'm getting ready to powder coat my LT5 components and think I'll powder coat the air box the same color.

The pictures do not give the paint job justice

It's definitely over the top!

Everyone has to step up their game. (hint hint Ricky!)
