Re: HawaiiZR-1
I have no doubt that some ZR-1's in Japan are gone. They got flattened over there. I was in the San Francisco bay area in 1989 during the world series when the big one hit and I thought that was big at 7.0 but 8.9 is monsterous. Then that tsunami. Then three nuclear reactors possibly in full meltdown. Thats a 1 2 3 punch. My heart goes out to our Japanese brothers and sisters. It's just horrible.

Hey Craig , Hope everything is OK wherever you are. Our heart's and prayer's point to the east.
Oh and if you need anything let your brothers here know.

Re: HawaiiZR-1
Hey everyone,
Thanks for the concern and blessings. All is well with myself, the wife and the dog. It has been crazy since arriving 3 days after the big one and after effects. It seems we have been having tremors daily and mostly during the night, but there were a few that had me worried during the first couple of days. It seems I am now a little used to it, but not comfortable as we had another one around midnight last night and a few this AM at the office. I don't know how the Z is doing enroute and will have my folks track that once things settle down and I don't want to ask about it with what we are reacting to right now. The Z is going to be okay and there are thousands of lives that I should be more concerned with. We don't see half of the damage on the US news as you will here locally, but this country will persevere as they always do. I am finally in a temporary lodging at a Navy housing base so all is well now and I have reliable internet as well as other communication. I am still busy trying to get settled in and finding a home as well as inprocessed to the area going back and forth to the Army installation about an hour plus away. Things are going well with all that has happened an I consider myself very blessed. Thanks again and take care. More to follow as things get better and more normal. Aloha from Japan, Craig

Re: HawaiiZR-1
Thanks guys, I appreciate the support. As long as I don't have to take the Potassium Iodide Tablets I was issued I am happy; we are drinking bottled water only now too so I hope the situation gets fixed soon or I will want to evacuate too.
On a good note, the ship with my Z will arrive to dock on Apr 8th, but I can't get it unloaded until the 14th. It was shipped in a container so that is good and hoping no damage. I am worried about not being able to pass emissions testing since that alone costs over $2500 and if you fail, you pay another $2500. Stage I camshafts right now are my worst enemy for emissions so we'll see what happens. Take care and more to follow..............
