Re: Worst condition ZR-1 ever?
Can't believe the price right now. I'd love to have this thing sitting next to the 88 when I build it. Good reference anyway. Not for $4k+ though.

Re: Worst condition ZR-1 ever?
The body parts are worth more than the bids but its transporting home that is stupid money.
the high bidder is 0 feedback and its at $5100 this would have been a fun one to get and tear apart but way to much

Re: Worst condition ZR-1 ever?
I love this comment in the Description.
".... engine has oxidation and heavy patina.... " Maybe heavy patina can become a new powdercoat color for all of those Rat-Rod ZR-1s out there.

Re: Worst condition ZR-1 ever?
This is really a waste of cash........anything that is electrical or rotates is trashed.....might as well throw your money away.

I dont know Lee, I think I would give 2,500 just for the rare forced air option

Yes, the forced air probably made for a great path for the salt water to go right into the motor as it rose.....wonder what the Iron insides of the LT-5 look like. Should be fun pulling the plugs out. I have seen cars like this in my job, at first people are like, let me keep the salvage it seems fine, then the wheel bearings seize, etc. Unfortunately I have seen some pretty nice cars meet this fate, including an original GT500
